Lake City High School, 6101 N Ramsey Rd., Coeur d'A;ene, Idaho, 83814, United States.

Class Description:  Upon completion of the class, participants will be able to identify the 5 various types of sprinkler systems and control valves.  We will examine different ways systems are compromised and gain insight to reduce or minimize water damage to the occupancy during a non-fire event.  Additionally, different types of fire alarm components, including smoke/heat detectors, notification appliances, and control panels will be reviewed.  Zoned/addressable systems will be discussed and how each may have an impact on initial arriving companies and assignments.  Insight obtained from this class will aid responding companies in decision making that is knowledge driven and best suited for the occupancy. Participants are encouraged to bring their experiences and questions for discussion.
